The listening part of the Occupational English Test (OET) has 3 parts and a total of 42 questions. Listening (40 minutes) will be given to you and you’ve to answer the OET after hearing it carefully. You will hear each recording once and are expected to write your answers while listening.
The OET Audio Recordings may include various accents such as American, Australian, British, Irish, South African, etc., to reflect the global nature of the healthcare workforce.
In total, there will be 42 questions on the OET listening paper, and each question will carry one mark. Part A contains 24 marks, Part B counts for 6 marks and Part C for 12 marks.
Though OET test dates are available every month, candidates can only register for the OET exam for the next three test dates at a time.
The good news is that you can resit for OET, if you don’t pass in your first attempt. And, there is no limit on the number of times you can retake the OET.
